CITIC Group (Myanmar) Company Limited, registered and incorporated in Myanmar on January 2017, is a subsidiary of China CITIC Group, acting as the entity to carry out preliminary local businesses of Kyauk Phyu Special Economic Zone’s (KP SEZ) Deep Sea Port (DSP) and Industrial Park (IP) Projects，as well as the Group's future business platform in Myanmar. Mainly responsible for promoting the signing and implementation of the project in Myanmar on behalf of CITIC Group in the form of a local institution before the signing of the project agreement and the establishment of the DSP and IP project company. Specifically including the negotiation of transaction documents and daily communication with Myanmar side; hiring local companies and staffs to carry out pre-project investigation, public relations and publicity work; taking the CITIC Group’s public service activities in Myanmar and so on.
