After Covid-19 pandemic broke out in 2020, CITIC Myanmar wasted no time to survey the most urgent needs in the local community. Based on people's needs, CITIC Myanmar team mobilized resources in Myanmar and China to purchase a batch of medical supply and food and have them delivered to Kyaukphyu as to relieve the dire situation in the town, including surgical masks, disinfecting sprayers and rice.

When the third wave of Covid-19 pandemic arrived in 2021, CITIC Myanmar has donated 150 oxygen tasks, 20,000 surgical masks and other relevant medical supply to Kyaukphyu Hospital.
