On December 26, 2023, the Addendum to the Concession Agreement of Kyaukphyu Deep Sea Port Project was inked. The signing ceremony was participated by relevant Myanmar officials and representatives of CITIC group. 

 

Kyaukphyu Project is forecasted to bring significant tax income and job opportunities to Myanmar during concession period, hence its constructive role to play in deepening pragmatic cooperation between China and Myanmar and delivering benefits to the two peoples. CITIC Group will do its utmost to implement the project, striving to make it a people-oriented project that features prosperity and sustainability.
